How High Does a Hot Air Balloon Go?
Most of our hot air balloon flights take place between 1,000 and 3,000 feet off the ground.

How Long Will it Take to Inflate the Hot Air Balloon?
It usually takes around 30 minutes to inflate the balloon. You can help with the inflation itself, or you can stand back to watch and take a few great photos.

How Long Will the Ride Be?
The flight lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on wind speed and direction. However, all participants should plan on being with us for 3-4 hours from start to finish.

How Many People go into the Basket?
It all depends on the size of the balloon. Most areas have various sizes of balloons. The largest can take 16 people plus the pilot. We also have a 12 person, 10 person, 8 person and 4 person balloon. We bring out the best size to comfortably fit the number of people who book a flight on a given day.

Why Are Flights So Early in the Morning?
Hot air balloons need stable weather conditions, and the most favorable are a few hours just before dawn. Our pilots like to fly before the sun can heat up the ground and the wind. Winter months provide pleasant conditions for hot air ballooning. If you were to take a balloon ride in the summer, the balloon is usually back on the ground by 7:30am.
